Guest guest Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Hi Mike C, Yup... a biopsy can hurt you. So can an aspirin. So can getting out of bed in the morning and attempting to cross a street. A biopsy is a very minor surgical procedure. There are no side effects from a successful biopsy, except the need to limit strenuous physical activity for a day or so. There are very few unsuccessful biopsies. The results from a biopsy give you the single most important tools you need to make informed decisions regarding your treatment, whether it be using 'rat poison' or herbs. . Until you understand the extent of the damage already caused by hepatitis c... if any, you cannot make an informed decision. This is not a game, it is as simple as that. Have a good one, My reason for refusing a biopsy is because I saw MANY tapes about thisand it shows you how biopsy can hurt you (Interal bleeding) and how itcan't stop bleeding. I do not want to take a chance with that. Ispoke with all my friends about this and they said the same thing. They did internet reseacrh too so they do know more about this illnessas I do. And it has side effects which can cause me to be tried. ICANNOT be tired and NOT go to work at all. I need my job. So that iswhy I will not do a biospy.Take Care,Mike C Quote
