Guest guest
Me, again. I went back over to my sun tea jar and gave the spigot a turn and the leak stopped. I have it setting in the sink, full of water, so I can check on it later. jan
Guest guest
Suntea jar spigots are notorious for leakage and not always fixable by turning the screw. Mine generally let loose at the spout but not for a couple of years. Replacement spigots can be found for very little $$. Better than scrapping the jar. Try e-bay Zoe > Me, again. Guest guest
I think that is what I will do. I did not want a spigot but there was no choice. The other jars were plastic. Guest guest
But can you use the gallon jars for continuous brew? Don't you need something with a spigot? jan > > Sun-tea jars are great for KT brewing, but I prefer to remove the > spigots completely and 'cork' them off from the inside.
