Me, again. I went back over to my sun tea jar and gave the spigot a

turn and the leak stopped. I have it setting in the sink, full of

water, so I can check on it later.

Suntea jar spigots are notorious for leakage and not always fixable by turning

the screw. Mine generally let loose at the spout but not for a couple of

years. Replacement spigots can be found for very little $$. Better than

scrapping the jar. Try e-bay

I think that is what I will do. I did not want a spigot but there was no

choice. The other jars were plastic.

But can you use the gallon jars for continuous brew? Don't you need

something with a spigot?
