Guest guest
Hi Idy You might want to give infused-vodka a call at 866-510-2121. One of their option is a plastic spigot for their jars. You can see it at http://www.infused-vodka.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS & Category=8. Their web site does not give diminution on the spigot but it looks like their jars have small holes. Good luck Bill >HI! I've seen so many glass jars with spigots all over town, and want >to buy this 5 gallon one from COSTCO. It's a gorgeous one at $27, >perfect for continuous brewing. Guest guest
THanks Ed and Bill again for speedy info. I already wrote Infusion Jars, Bill, to see if their spigots fit the 1 cm hole in my jar. We shall see in a couple business days. Can't wait to try continuous brewing. My goodness, I am just bursting with enthusiasm and want to make this kombucha taste great and make it easy for me. Hope this continuous brewing will help ease the load :-) You see, I make ginger water kefir and milk kefir as well and yogurt. I am really a mad scientist in our house :-) So I am trying to make as many shortcuts I can. You can see why. Ed, thanks for telling me about the recall. It wasn't recalled in our local COSTCO since they still have it out on the shelves. Too bad about those jars 'cuz they looked really cool and so perfect for those who want to brew continuously in glass. It would have been perfect. Do you sell plastic spigots that would fit the 1 cm hole diameter? Need one for my smaller thrift shop find. Thank you again for helping me out. I might have to just do regular brewing in my many gallon jars, like most still do. gratefully, Idy > > Costco issued a recall on their Italian Glass 5-gallon/19-liter Beverage Jar > with Spigot > Item Number 955637. > http://www.costco.com/Service/FeaturePage.aspx?ProductNo=11116525 > > Peace > > Ed Kasper LAc. & family > www.HappyHerbalist.com >
