It is not red bumps scattered on normal skin, that itches. my rash is SMALL bumps, VERY close together, so it is more like a PATCH of itchy stuff than like distinct bumps. When it is fading away I can kinda see the separate spots. Before that it is more like a patch. It itches a LOT. > I experienced total coverage of flaming red skin, like a burn, and when I stopped using it, the redness slowly left and the skin dried up and fell off like in flakes. hummm--- I would describe mine as pink or reddened skin, but not FLAMING red....... I've had MINOR skin falling off--- probably due to scratching the ^%$#@ stuff.... > It did itch, but it also was extremely painful. oh, I can't tell--- itching is so uncomfortable that I might call it pain. I dunno. It lasts longer than other itchy stuff I get (skin allergy to touching some plants). It fades VERY slowly. Don't know if that helps LOL. Guest guest
Dear Donna, From that description, I would doubt that alkalinity had anything to do with it. It is more likely the action of an oxidant -- lipid peroxidation on skin that is deficient in lipids. It seems very much like a burn, and not at all like a cleansing reaction. Does this happen on any area of skin? Does it happen after moisturizing the skin? Best of health! It is not red bumps scattered on normal skin, that itches. I experienced total coverage of flaming red skin, like a burn, and when I stopped using it, the redness slowly left and the skin dried up and fell off like in flakes. It did itch, but it also was extremely painful. It felt like an itchy burn. And it looked like a burn and the top layer of skin died and peeled off. And, as I said, I get the exact same response to daily application of straight M2 soap. And my perception is that it is the extreme alkalinity that is in effect " burning " the top layer of skin. So, for those who have done ozone saunas or bagging. Is your rash the same as this? Or is it different? Guest guest
Hi Saul. It does seem to happen wherever I put it and I haven't tested it by doing it after moisturizing. Perhaps I should try some coconut oil, internally and externally, and then apply the OOO and report back. Thanks Donna http://www.excellentthings.com RE: rash or burn Dear Donna, >From that description, I would doubt that alkalinity had anything to do with it.
