Guest guest Posted May 15, 2005 Report Share Posted May 15, 2005 Hi, I just wanted you to know that I am also allergic to zoloft. I got a very itchy, bright red rash. It was in a symetrical pattern, on my left and right ankles in the same place, elbows in the same place, etc... I then started paxil without much a problem and was on that for years. Now I am on a small amount of lexapro. My doc thought that I was allergic to a dye in the zoloft. I don't know what to tell you for your daughter, except that just because she was allergic to one, doesn't mean she will be allergic to another one. Medicines can really help Good luck!
