Guest guest Posted August 8, 2004 Report Share Posted August 8, 2004 You know my history and I made arrangement to go to a shrink for awhile during treatment.Suggest this to your family doctor.Without the treatment if the damage is bad you could die.With treatment you have a chance of healing some of the liver damage even if the treatent wasn't successful it will give you more time until something better comes along.Save these posts.Print them out and give them to your doctor to read.My prayers are that your doctor will listen to you and realize you want to live.Besides the fact that they put you on anti depressents while on treatment these days unless your doctor is behind the times.Take care my friend.I wish I was living close to help you with the doctor opinion.Cape Breton,Nova Scotia is a long way away.Take care my friend and you are not alone you have us.A lot of people here have had to go through treatment with no support except us and they did beautifully.They are all such brave people.
