Thank you for your responce, I live in North Carolina but I work for

the state in South Carolina. We have insurance and I pay for my long

term disablity but you have to be out of work for 3 months before your

long term kicks in. I live from pay check to pay check so it makes it

hard to go the 3 months without any funds comming in. Right now I feel

real good. I am getting stronger every day. 2 weeks ago I couldn't

even walk without help. But at least now I can funcution fully again.

Hi Cyndy

Yea my long term starts at three months - but we have short term that

covers the first three months. I also live pay check to pay check and

I am considering going on disability. It is scary - afraid I will get

out there and get turned down - then what ?? I really hope something

works out for you so you can resume your treatment. I was to far

advanced and they didn't want to treat me. My symptoms are from the

illness as opposed to the treatment. I live in Florida -but born in

Tennessee. I love the mountains - things are a little slower and more

peaceful. I hope you get a chance to enjoy them.
