Oh Charlyne ,

I remember this scoop when you had shared this on the Special ed

director, amazing how people can be, so cold-hearted. Yes, when

problems arise it only gives us strength, courage, & power to look

for answers. I guess its part of being a mom who loves to be over-

prepared when it comes to dealing with our challenges. As the saying

says autism is like a marathon. I too, enjoy hearing about the good,

the bad, & the ugly experiences. Every story, ideas or suggestions

are always a great help towards our miracles.

Hi Charlyne,

This has been an on-going issue with and his Ped. doc has run

many test, like just recently. Many test where done even if doc did

not request for them but I wanted to rule out whatever was going on.

The test done were throat culture, to see if he had any strep, test

came back negative. Blood work to check his thyroid level-negative.

Urine test for any type of bladder infection, etc.,negative. Ears

checked, negative. Diabetes, negative. Clammy, cold hands, chills.

Never high fever, always low-grade fever with his body, neck, breath

feeling warm, feverish like. Even the school notice he was not

himself, lethargic, loss of appetite, even the school nurse would

take 's temperature as she loves him and notice he was not

himself. It drags for a week and then slowly he recovers, then bam

again it occurs again. I'm in cloud nine as I can not believe as I

had the opportunity to speak to Dr. El-Dahr. I still have not done my

research yet but I'm glad Dr. El-Dahr understood exactly what I was

asking, she said this was another study that she has noticed that

many other kids have been going through. She did instruct me on some

trials and here is where I would like 's Ped. doc to get

involved to educate himself, boy, is he going to get tired of me or

love us, to be there for others which I would not mind. This is one

of the reasons why I enjoy reading up on the Immune Dysfunction. This

is the same Ped. doc that kept saying BOGUS, but now he is slowly

listening and agreeing. I know, I could of switch docs and he is good

but needs to be for standby. I will get in at the Autism

Treatment Center but some funds had failed with the research. So now

I'll work around it. Sorry Charlyne did not mean to write a book.
