HI ,

Its so good to hear from you and your family and no problems in Spain

with God willing . Any celebrations with Columbus Holiday

over there ? I'm very glad to hear from you whenever you make time

to chime in . Its always nice to hear from a male's view and I can

vouch for that . Don't let us stop you from chiming in , whenever we

respond . Remember whatever worked for others do not work for another

person and boy do we all have our trials and challenges . As you just

went through Ignacio's haircut , boy , can I remember those times .

The more you take him hopefully he'll get the hang of it . Don't

forget his favorite item or food to reward him . Before you enter ,

show him his favorite Disney video and say , you be a good boy and

you could watch it . Thats just an example , it'll be hard because

its part of the sensory issue , but slowly . One of the moms had

mentioned how she went about cutting her childs hair while asleep , I

use to do that , too , when he was younger . Isn't that amazing how

we could all relate and understand . Yesterday needed his

haircut , same hairdresser place , I don't have a particular

hairdresser . This new hairdresser ended up cutting his hair and he

was very well behave for her . All the other hairdressers would just

turn around and smile to me and tell what a good boy he was .

They all know him and always gets attention . Glad to hear on the

GFCF diet and you do not have any problems finding the GFCF food

products . How convenient . I'm kinda of into reading more on the

special diets when I find time . I am starting to see some signs .

Still waiting on the Developmental Ped. doc to do an evaluation done

on him . Its part of a research that funds have been approved . If it

drags , I'll just pay out of my pocket . I just want to rule out the

culprits . Oh ! How funny , THATS ALL on the bashing and

shouting , but I hear ya . use to alot when he was younger ,

do not know what stopped him . Could of been my temper . I have alot

of guilt now knowing the actual culprit " Autistic behaviors " was

P.S. Jim my husband is being strong & coping at this time . I know

its so that I won't have to worry so much . He has not flown

International flights , yet . Thanks for remembering . I'm just

spoiling him more than ever when he returns .
