Guest guest
Clay is feeling better but not 100%. Dr Lewey spoke with Dr Kastner. Dr Kastner said by now we should see some positive results of Enbrel even though it can take up to 2 months. He is on .7ml once a week. They said he is on the highest dose. Was #52lbs, now he is #46. They are shipping out anakrain(sp?) tommorrow. I am pretty sure it is not viral since he responded to Naprosyn. His lymphs started going down in his neck and he had a little more energy. He was not put on an antibotic. I realize that enbrel can be an immune depressant. Unfortunately there are lots of nasty noses out there and Moms that are not a freaky Purell toting Momma. Anyways, thanks for the post and sorry for the panic. We are doing the best we have in the last 4 years. We, as a family, are not circling our lives around this illness. (God Bless Clay, not his fault) I was reliving those years before meds. So to all of you searching, hang on & be strong. Oh, Clay was dx with HIDS with two different test Sept 2005.
