Guest guest Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Has anyone ever had the experience of getting a hypothermic temperature reading? When Carina had her worst fever episode in January, her fever would spike incredibly fast to 105, 106, and when it did come done with meds it would drop to below normal usually to 96. One time about an hour after I'd given her meds, she woke up screaming that she was cold, and her legs were as white as a sheet. I got an ear temp of 93, so I got another thermometer and checked her rectal temp -93 also. Within a half hour of her crying and being wrapped up in a blanket her temp was close to normal. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Thank you. Best Wishes, Carmela mother of Carina 3 1/2 (?) & Milena 3 1/2 Quote
