Guest guest
Dean Thanks for your note. I already have an IEP in place for ph.... We have OT scheduled for eval in a couple of weeks and we will be scheduling neuro-cognitive and neuro-psych eval as NIH has advised... The school district here in Union County will abide by the recommendations. I am going to request the sensory aid to be purchased too.... The teacher will wear a microphone and ph will wear head phones to hear her teach and drown out the surrounding noises. Hopefully we will not have a problem. I am requesting the portable unit so he can take it with him each year to his new class and teacher. Our school district is excellent. The principle pushes hard for ph as do the Exceptional Children teachers. We are blessed with that. They all belong to our carepage I set up... and have been keeping in close contact posting messages to ph to keep his spirits up and writing to me letting me know they will push for all the accommodations. I am praying it all works out. Since I fought for his IEP late last year in Kinder... it is an open door for us to get all his needs met. The hardest part is usually getting the IEP.
