Guest guest
Hi Kathy, started getting the fevers when he was four and everytime I went to the pediatric doctor they told me that it's viral. We went a year before they suggested I see an Infectious disease specialist. It was the hardest year I've ever had. The only remission had before treatment was last summer we went 8 weeks but then it just started right back up at the 2-3 week periods. I couldn't thank the specialist enough either. After he was diagnosed I came right home and found this group. It was very supportive and helpful to know there were others out there with the same problems. We were very fortunate in the fact that only had fevers not other symptoms, but the fevers would run as high as 106 and that was scary especially since he also had fibrel seizures since he was 18 months old and I think we have now grown out of that now. Stick with it I've been told it does work in most cases. ann Cimetidine--WOW, it really works!!! > > > > Hi! > > I haven't been on to check posts in a while (I guess that's a good > thing...I usually am on whenever my son, ny, is sick).
