Guest guest
Hep-B is found in blood, semen, and vaginal secretions of infected people. Therefore, it can be passed from an infected mother to her child during child birth. I AM IN NO WAY INSINUATING THAT YOU ARE/WERE INFECTED...please understand. I only assume it is mandated due to risk of mother not knowing whether or not she is infected, or unwilling to tell her doctor due to embarassment. Left untreated, Hep-B can lead to cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer, or death. > > > > > > I would respectfully suggest those discussing whether the intake > > of alcohol > > > or smoking during pregnancy contributed to the " autism epidemic " , > > read these > > > two articles that were posted this morning. Guest guest
I understand this. Then why not screen mothers during pregnancy? My Ob/Gyn asked to screen me for HIV, and I had no problem with it, why should it be any different with Hep B? > > > > > > > > I would respectfully suggest those discussing whether the > intake > > > of alcohol > > > > or smoking during pregnancy contributed to the " autism > epidemic " , > > > read these > > > > two articles that were posted this morning. Guest guest
No, it is mandated even if the mother tests negative. It is mandated because they tried reaching high risk individuals and those darn people just didn't seem to care and come in for their vaccinations. So they mandated it for newborns, knowing it was probably not affective beyond 5 to 10 years after vaccination. They mandated it for newborns despite never being tested on anyone under the age of 12. They mandated a vaccine for a liver disease to infants despite their livers not even functioning fully before 6 months old and their inability to excrete or produce bile. So it is inappropriate for innocent infants, never tested on babies, won't last until the age of risk, and the short term and long term affects totally unknown. Less than 2% of those infected with Hep B have the chronic or life-altering affects, most recover and have immunity for life. The year before the shot was mandated, 52 children in the entire U.S. were diagnosed with Hep B. Compare that to the number that have died from the vaccine. The Hep B is the most glaring example of why profits take precedence over logic. The risks far outweigh the benefits. You say, " I will take the shot " well you can have it. I and my child will never ever take the shot, or any other for that matter. You claim reactions are associated without proof that the vaccine caused the reaction, but you will see in the VAERS reports, an innocent baby dead less than 24 hours after a vaccine or many vaccines in one visit. SIDS is listed as the cause of death, despite that being supposedly reserved for deaths without any logical explanation. Apparently being shot up with 9 vaccines in one visit is not a logical or plausible explanation. There is no proof and by God they certainly aren't going to make any effort to prove it one way or another. I'm always amazed that three cases of mumps is international news, a " preventable crisis " , and any death from measles or any other disease for which there is a vaccine is a " preventable tragedy " that many in this country would not object to the parents being hung in the town square. But even baby's deaths proven and admitted to be caused by vaccines do not make the nightly news in the town it happened let alone nation wide. If the number of deaths were ever made public it would drastically affect immunization rates. The scene on the nightly news of a mother draped over the body of her dead baby from vaccines would go far in making parents educate before they vaccinate. Imagine a doctor telling you after your child had a life-threatening reaction, " well we can continue them one at a time since we don't know exactly what one caused the reaction " . Oh perfect, like Russian Roulette, we can do one at a time until we find the one that finishes her off. Or imagine being told that your dead child was a " necessary sacrifice in the war on disease, some have to pay the ultimate price " . So you can have the shot. I am a conscientious objector. They can never be trusted ever again. The lies, the deceit, the cover ups, the secrecy, the refusal to treat people as individuals, those making the decisions that affect the health and lives of our children sleeping in the beds of big pharma. If you want to trust them, have at it. If you want the shot, you are welcome to it. But, I have the same right to just say NO. And to do it without your judgement or ill-informed sermons. I am one of those that makes no 'bones' about it, I am anti-vaccine and I have earned that right. I don't care about political correctness or being painted as a fringe whacko by vaccine zealots. One day the truth will come out, that vaccines are the worst thing to ever happen to the human race. Death and destruction all in the name of altruism, the good of the herd. Guest guest
The number of serious reactions in infants given the HepB vaccine is, according to estimates, more than three times the number who ever were infected with HepB. Got an ant hill problem? Why, let's just nuke it. Re: Now it's boozing moms that cause autism I would respectfully suggest those discussing whether the intake of alcohol or smoking during pregnancy contributed to the "autism epidemic", read these two articles that were posted this morning. While they relate to SIDS, they are, none-the-less, applicable to autism. "SIDS" is a deadly, medical mystery, that occurs too frequently in countries that practice "every child by two" vaccine policies. Indeed, has ANYONE done research that would compare the rate of SIDS with undeveloped, less vaccinated countries? Bones, do you know of such research and can you educate me on where the United States is ranked for "infant mortality"? I think I read we rank somewhere around 36th? That simply cannot be, as we are the most vaccinated country in the world. No? In any event, yes, drinking alcohol and smoking during pregnancy is obviously harmful to the fetus, but, the alcohol and smoke must first breach the digestive system and lungs. Both are "mother nature's" (God to those of us who believe) natural defenses against viruses, bacteria's and the caveman's discovery of fire. What about the HEP B vaccine, injected directly into the baby's immune system, within hours of birth? Bones? Do you know of any research that suggests injecting the HEP B virus directly into a newborn infant is less dangerous than drinking alcohol and smoking during pregnancy? After all, according to a 2003 UPI report, the CDC files contained 32,731 reports of possible reactions following HEP B vaccinations since 1991, including 10,915 emergency room visits, 685 life-threatening reactions, 3,700 hospitalizations, 1,200 disabilities and 618 deaths. Jeepers, Bones, even you would not mandate a car-seat for kids that had a safety record like this. Guest guest
No, the mandates for HepB were initially based upon the fact that the HepB vaccine "takes" more effectively at an early age and it was to be used to provide an entry point to the electronic vaccine tracking system. The scientific rationale assumes both accuracy in safety and efficacy testing, which is extremely inadequate or non-existent. That scientific rationale for HepB was used to mandate the vaccine at birth (based upon putative efficacy at birth- even though the risk of HepB was so low for these children). The mandated HepB was to become the government's first step into getting all children into the electronic vaccine tracking system. Get them at birth and track them through life. That's why the nurses, doctors and others in the hospitals were so aggressive about making sure all the babies were vaxed up at birth, despite the high levels of toxicity in that vaccine and the tremendous damage done by that vaccine. After they discovered how much damage was done by the HepB vaccine, they backed off somewhat. But many doctors and nurses still remain overly aggressive in trying to force this vaccine on unsuspecting mothers. Re: Now it's boozing moms that cause autism Hep-B is found in blood, semen, and vaginal secretions of infected people. Therefore, it can be passed from an infected mother to her child during child birth. I AM IN NO WAY INSINUATING THAT YOU ARE/WERE INFECTED...please understand. I only assume it is mandated due to risk of mother not knowing whether or not she is infected, or unwilling to tell her doctor due to embarassment.Left untreated, Hep-B can lead to cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer, or death.> > >> > > I would respectfully suggest those discussing whether the intake > > of alcohol > > > or smoking during pregnancy contributed to the "autism epidemic", > > read these > > > two articles that were posted this morning. Guest guest
" bones.0504 " , Factually, there is an inexpensive test for Hep B that negates your claimed concern. In addition, the " birth " Hep B is KNOWN NOT to confer immunity and is given for a much more " enlightened " / " incidious " (depending upon your point of view) reason that I won't bore you with. [Hint: Look into the adverse outcomes rates for mandated Hep B started in the " middle school " group instead of at birth in France, where, ~ 4 years later, there was a significant increase in diabetes and MS in the inoculated population.] Hopefully, you will investigate and report back to the EOHarmgroup what is the " IMMUNE-SYSTEM IMPRINTING " reason behing the Hep B vaccine's being given at birth and explain to this group why it is either ethical or legal, in a country where informed consent is required before a vaccine can be given, for the healthcare establishment to hide this " real " reason from the public. Respectfully, Dr. King http://www.dr-king.com PS: When given at birth, inoculation with the Hep B vasccine can and does lead to severe adverse effects and deaths in some and, as our government admits, less than 10% of all vaccine-related adverse events, including deaths, are reported to VAERS! Moreover, about 95% if all VAERS reports are filed by a healthcare provider who is supposed to be trained so that his/her judgments are less " subjective. Guest guest
They do screen for Hep B, they did for all 3 of my pregnancies (’99, 02, and right now). That’s what makes it even crazier, the preventative Heb B at birth is to ‘catch’ those babies born to mothers that might have missed getting tested. There was an insane article on it a while back saying that hospitals need to be more diligent in giving the birth dose due to the small percentage of women who give birth without any prenatal care and unknown Hep B status. (mostly in urban locations) Becky Re: Now it's boozing moms that cause autism I understand this. Guest guest
If you don't have an autistic child, why are you here? Re: Now it's boozing moms that cause autism Posted by: " bones.0504 " bones.0504@... bones.0504 Fri May 18, 2007 8:27 pm (PST) , the fact that I didn't see anything regarding autism upon first glance was an oversight on my part (much the same as 's). An oversight that you so graciously corrected. I am sorry if we are of differing opinions, but " associated " is not the same as, nor does it ever imply, " causation " . As I am engaged, and about to embark on parenthood (hopefully), I can only hope and pray that my children are healthy. I can't possibly imagine the daily toil that a parent experiences raising a child with an NDD (or any handicap, for that matter), such as yourself. I too post questions and statements that I feel would be beneficial to others, however, I am more than willing to agree to disagree, and not cause you any more grief. Guest guest
> I am sorry if we are of differing opinions, but " associated " is not > the same as, nor does it ever imply, " causation " . I disagree. " Associated " can most certainly " imply " causation although not necessarily so. Last's Dictionary of Epidemiology states, in pertinent part, as follows: " ...the presence of an association does not necessarily imply a causal relationship. " However, " [a]ssociations can be broadly grouped under two headings, symmetrical or noncausal...and asymmetrical or causal. " Direct association is defined by Last as directly associated, i.e., not via a known third variable:A → B Refers only to causality. Association, Asymmetrical (syn: asymmetrical relationship) The definitive conditions of asymmetrical associations are direction and time. Independent variable X must cause changes in dependent variable Y; the causal variable must precede its " effects. " The likelihood of a true causal relationship is increased by presence of certain criteria; but the only absolutely essential criterion is that the cause must precede the effect. Guest guest
Bob, I agree it is deinitely implied that a mother consuming alcohol during pregnancy can cause all kind of maladies. There would be no point in mentioning autism in the article unless they meant to imply a woman drinking alcohol during pregnancy could be a cause of autism. Bottom line it's the victims fault, bad genes, bad habits, etc.... BTW, I am not implying drinking in pregnancy is ok. I never had a drop and most ladies on the list have said the same for themselves. > > > I am sorry if we are of differing opinions, but " associated " is not > > the same as, nor does it ever imply, " causation " . > > I disagree.
