Yes, I took a similar drug and it did dry up my secretions.  The most

bothersome side-effect was constipation.

I would suggest that you take a product that contains Guaifenesin.  My

pulmonologists suggests Waltussin.  It works wonders for me!

Hi Everyone!

My secretions have been worse lately, I usually get more junkie in the

spring/fall but it seemed to have happened much earlier this year. My

nursing supervisor had mentioned Robinul to my mom so I asked my

pulmonologist about it and he's calling it into the pharmacy. Has anyone

else use this before, or is currently on it? Is there any SMA related

side effects I should worry about with this med?

Yeah, Tussin PE (Expectorant) is great! Make sure the only active ingredient is

guaifenesin. It really helps thin/loosen the secretions. I use it when I'm sick.
