Great to read the you guys are doing the research to work TOGETHER with physicians. That's how it should be. There are 2 organizations for you to check to locate physicians practicing " newer " treatments: www.acam.org www.orthomed.org With the internet and google, there is NO excuse for being uninformed. Best of luck to you both! Robin Falkov www.healthfreedomrights.com " Hi Dr. Falkov, Thanks for the comments and I agree that this is he way it should be. A darned shame that it is the rarity rather then the norm though. I am such a different person that I was only a few short years ago in regards to my healthcare. I think that most of us are aware of www.acam.org but I've never heard of www.orthomed.org nor your www.healthfreedomrights.com I will surely take some time to look over these sights. Glad to have you here. Is there a reason that you are here at the LDN forum? JoyceF
Guest guest
Hi Joyce, Thanks for the welcome! A family member has liver cancer and LDN was recommended by one of the physicians. I am trying to learn more about it. Sounds like you are doing a great job managing your health care. There is nothing more important than our health. Perhaps, most people need to think about it as they do their finances. They sure wouldn't give someone free rein to manage their money. Why is it all right with their health? Hope the links are helpful. All the best..............Robin Falkov www.healthfreedomrights.com > > " Message: 11 > Date: Sat, 27 Nov 2004 12:05:30 EST > From: DrRobinFalkov@... >Subject: Re: Hi Mark... > >Hi Joyce and Mark, >Wow! Guest guest
Hello , It is wonderful to read of the success you have had and that of many others in this group. My family member has not begun the LDN yet. He has radically changed his diet to Alkaline, with LOTS of raw greens. Starts the day with a high potency green drink and supplements and Chinese herbs through the day. Also, IV Vit C therapy is very effective as well as chelation to treat conditions other than the liver cancer. If anyone else has liver cancer or HCV, I will be happy to share info. Proper diet is truly our foundation. On this journey with my family member, I have changed my own and am much more strict about what I do NOT eat. There are so many effective therapies out there, finding them is the problem because of suppression by the "Medical Industry." You all are doing a wonderful job sharing info! All the best.....................................Robin

My mother is using 4.5mg of LDN with lactose filler as a breast cancer preventative. All is going great so far. My mother refused chemo and did LDN instead. Her cancer was a very aggressive form. She takes 4.5mg of LDN and 500mg of DL-Phenylalanine during the day of which Dr. Bihari recommended and is doing great so far. Is your family member going to use any chemo or just the LDN alone? If he/she can afford it, a phone consultation with Bihari would be in their best interest. You could learn lots from him also by doing a phone consultation. Your family member needs to stay away from all immune suppressants if using the LDN. Use Irmat pharmacy in New York listed on the LDN homepage, it's the one Bihari uses and when one is dealing with a life-threatening illness, the best compounding pharmacy is needed in this case. LDN has turned my life around for the better over the past 1 1/2 years, my 14 straight year chronic progressive MS has halted dead in its tracks on 4.5mg of LDN. I have had zero worsening since day one of LDN use.
