Honestly, it didn’t matter to me what she said. Anything she had to say won’t help my son. We’ve got 2 hearings in Suffolk Co this week about thimerosal in vaccines, I’ve got a luncheon with Gov. Spitzer’s wife on Friday, we might have to reschedule my son’s chelation appt. this week, I’ve got to get 200 packets out for the LIAC tomorrow (got 40 done so far)------ my priority is not what thinks. And the more we obsess over her- the more importance her comments get. Yes- I know she speaks for AS. But when my son recovers it’s not going to be because of AS or NAAR. Guest guest
"Over the top" means you went a little farther in your letter to Alison than I would have. I agree with you that the focus of AS needs to be changed, I would not have attacked her personally for having different view points than we do. I don't make the leap that she is helping the govt agencies and Pharma maintain the coverup. I think Pharma and govt agencies don't need her help, they are doing a great job on coverup all by themselves. AS is operating in the mainstream and is afraid to open the organization up to alternative because they are protecting their credibility. I understand your anger, I have my moments too, believe me. The goal would be to make our position so credible that AS HAS to open up to this model of autism. Guest guest
They could go on that new show- "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" A person form AS can explain how prevalent the autism epidemic, but they don't really know its cause and they can then stand there like a friggin' dunce scratching their ass and/or their scalp and then ask the fifth graders what the cause of the autism epidemic is. All of the fifth graders can then raise their hand at once and shout out the real cause. It would make for good TV. Guest guest
Bob, you make an excellent point in questioning Ms. Singers reason for bringing up the CAA, and the evidence based bullshit at a state hearing. I believe it's from fear. Yes, the war was declared a long time ago, but honestly, from where we sit (my wife and I were drafted into this conflict eight years ago), the AS/CAN types are feeling a lot of heat. In speaking to some of the people I know who are adamant in their defense of the genetic/too much TV/old daddies basis for the epidemic, I sense a cracking of their self assured defenses. I simply challenge them to SHOW ME (I used to live in Missouri and picked up a bad case of their attitude) the toxicology data on the safety of thimerosal and aluminum, and the safety studies on the ridiculous number of vaccines the pediatric Mafia injected into my son. I remind them all the time that selective epidemiology studies do not show the damage done to human brain cells like a microscope does. That usually makes people stop and think. Let's be honest. The front page autism stories are getting sillier, and a hellova lot less respectable. Putting a stupid theory about kids watching too much TV as the cause for autism on the front page of anything but a supermarket tabloid is a sign of desperation by the fools at CDC and Pharma. Giving an anthropologist/epidemiologist the headline over solid toxicology work by Boyd Haley, or Mike Wagnitz, is pathetic. Our adversaries continue to throw crap against the wall hoping something will stick, while avoiding the reality. If this is all they can throw up against the truth, they are in trouble. Harry H.
