Please call Arthur Krigsman (DAN pediatric gastroenterologist) TODAY.

His phone number is 516-239-4123, and he is on Long Island (and not in

Texas) today. I am sure that if you can get through to him (INSIST on

it), he will be able to give you excellent advice on how to proceed

with your son. He is about a 3 hour drive from you, and if you cannot

make it up there under any circumstances, he may just be able to advise

you about available local options.

Please try this and do not give up. Gut pain is AWFUL, and your son

needs relief. We are here for you.

This is for the mom down in South Jersey who wanted to get her son help but didn't want to drive really far.

Lynne Deng seems to be genuinely interested - I know a few people that go to her and like her. She also has a child on the spectrum herself.

Thank you for your help. I did

contact Lynn Deng but she only treats children. My son is an adult

32 years of age. As far as traveling a distance, my son has chronic

pain throughout his body, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, celia disease,

chronic diarrhea which keeps him in the bathroom for intermittent

hours of time. He has no sense of taste of smell, he has 3 hearing disorders.

This is not a simple case. He has been diagnosed with muscular

dystrophy, reflex sympathetic dystrophy besides the autism diagnosis.

He is losing weight constantly. He

is down to nothing. I do not know what to do.

How about we try to hook you up with the UMDNJ Autism Treatment center in newark but maybe you can put him in the UMDNJ hospital in Camden? They can refer to someone there or collaborate? He needs a gastro and a neurologist it seems. Start by treating the symptoms and then move on to trying to pinpoint the causes.

Do you have the telephone number of

the Autism Treatment Center in Newark or UNDNJ in Camden? I could not get

through to the telephone numbers that information gave me on UMDNJ in Newark.

There were 3 telephone numbers. One rang and noone answered

and the other2 made a loud shrill as if connected to a computer.

Thank you for your help.
