Hi ,

We met with DR Herz yesterday, he was really great. I had brought in an

excel sheet that had all of Gabes med history, my concerns, my tests I would

like

ran, and a the history of his last two fevers. He sat down and went through

every line with me. The last specialist hardly glanced at it. DR Herz made me

feel like we were the only ones that were important. Bad news is, we are

back to square one he does not think he has . He also wants me to take his

temp twice a day for 3 1/2 months, then we will see him again and he wants

time to go through Gabe's chart and what tests he wants to run. I felt

comfortable with him. My concern was that they diagnosed Gabes with this

prematurely

just because they could not find anything else after running a few tests and

that is what happened. I feel blessed that we found DR Herz, so thank you so

much. He is well worth the drive.

That is so great, he did the same thing with us. He was great about talking

with other specialiasts and he always kept in touch with us about what the next

step was. Good luck with doing the temp 2 times a day... don't get down on

yourself when you occasionally skip a day... Hope Gabe is doing well. McKenzie

came down with a fever today 28 days, it's usually about 21 days. I was hoping

we were home free. Let's keep in touch.
