Guest guest Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Years ago I was at a Capitol Hill event with Doug Flutie there. The room was full of staffers wanting his autograph on footballs. That part was a real riot. When it was all done, speeches and intros began. When it was his turn he talked a bit about his son. He said, " You know, I hall this $ and yet my son can't talk. I'd give anything for that to happen. " Then he stopped and said, " Now I want to talk to all the parents in the room. " He then compared the Mothers of children with autism to mother bears. He said, " You all know mother bears cannot compare to you. " He said, " God help anyone who gets in their way. " There wasn't a dry eye in the house. msherrett. Quote
