Hi Early exposure to viruses (whether via natural or vaccine) is a HUGE risk for ASD and other disabilities. Dr. Yazbak (you can google his work) has done fascinating research in this area. He discovered that the children of 60 of 64 (and I am going by memory but I posted it before) who received the MMR after birth and then nursed the baby later developed late onset autism after the first MMR. One theory (and I can not back this up) is that maybe the early exposure to viruses destroys the infant's ability to detox naturally -- or something along those lines. I never dreamed my son was a viral kid (has he has responded very well to MB 12 and chelation) has viral tithers off the chart and is responding well so far to a viral protocol. Of course everything is off label, but what other choices do we have? I strongly believe that every ASD child should at least try MB 12 given the

positive response rate of 90% (reported at the Long Beach DAN). I got an MMR shot shortly before becoming PG. I think those were in the study too? It looked at women who got the shot shortly before pregnancy and after (who breast fed)-- almost every kid ended up with autism. Gavin regressed the DAY he got his MMR shot, he spoke his last words that day (didn't speak again until 6). Even with that being the case, even with his blood testing normal... I noticed his first improvements when I started simply with milk thistle and glutathione!

The DMSA is pulling metals, and the MB12 is really helping too. At age 9 I thought it would be too late, but he is becoming conversational.

Cheri, Just know that even if you think it may not help, be open to it. I was trained in the old boy's club of medicine at the age of 18. I bought everything they sold me. When I first saw someone post something about vaccines causing autism I told them, among many things that it was just a coincidence and I would eat my hat if wrong (thankfully no one has held me to that).

I wish... that SOMEONE, ANYONE would have shot off some emails to me that day explaining it more. It would have been the difference of helping Gavin at age 3 instead of 5 to 6 years later. We would be some much further ahead now.

You should give transdermal chelation a shot. At least do not shut that door for good.
