Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 ASO titer is a blood test to measure anti-streptolysin O (ASO) antibodies. If it’s elevated, it means he’s got strep or Bacterial endocarditis, Post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis, Rheumatic fever or Scarlet fever. From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of H. Tyler's ASO was positive and his titer was above the normal range. Can anyone tell me what this means? I know the doctor will explain it more but I was kinda curious. Thanks! Quote
