Yes, I know , which is indeed VERY wonderful. EOH is a great

book and will make a great movie!

A screenplay of our story of recovery, " Asleep at the Switch " , has

also been considered for production (Some folks on this list have

read the very early drafts). In fact, we had an option with a film

production company with close ties to the Agency. On

the advice of our agent, we decided against the request to renew the

option for another year (each time they find someone interested in

funding - they back out, " too controversial " ) and placed it back out

there for consideration by other production companies and studios.

We have had some very good interest but no deal (know anyone at

Universial Studios who would be interested?)

The bottom line is that America needs to be awoken to this national

disaster. I hope EOH the Movie Kicks Ass! Gotta love that

Kirby!

I was one of the fortunate ones to read Charlie's screenplay. It's incredible and I really hope someone picks it up. Looking forward to the EOH movie too!

The above link only lists producer and production companies

I've wondered about the participants safety given

who they must

deal with.

People who mame and lame kids wouldn't think twice about harming the movie participants.

Maybe it's quiet for a reason.

And I've prayed from the start that Kirby wears a bullet proof vest at all times.

No drama. Just reality here.

-------------- Original message -------------- From: Debbie Graves <gravesfmly@...> Does anybody know when the movie is coming out? I heard a few months back that it was set into motion and never heard anything further.Any help would be appreciated...Family is asking questions about it.Thanks in advance!Debbie

A look at Participant Production's website shows that the movie is currently under development, for release not in theaters, but on DVD. I don't understand how this will help any of us. We will all go out and rent the DVD. But it seems to me that it will be preaching to the choir. I was ecstatic when I'd heard the movie rights had been sold because I'd pictured the movie being released to theaters. Where it would become a big hit not just amongst the parents of affected children, but with the general public. (sort of like the movie Brockovich...) Finally, word would get out. Since we know that the main stream media will never disseminate this news. Now, I am not so sure I ought to be ecstatic about this.

Robin,

Hopefully Kirby will let us know the status of the movie. I

don't know how they decide if a movie will be released into theaters,

or if it will be released straight to DVD? I would really like to know

what to expect, too.

The problem we are facing is that there are three immensely powerful

groups, the federal redulatory agenies, pharma, and the medical

professions (especially pediatricians) that will be exposed as

recklesssly incompetent at best and probably criminally negligent.

Pharma is by far the most powerful of these groups and since the law

was changed under Bill Clinton to allow direct advertising of

prescription medication directly to the public not a media outlet in

corporate America isn't addicted to pharma advertising money.

Consequently, the media is almost completely silent on any issue

that displeases pharma.

The possibility of us seeing EOH: The Movie at our local multiplex

seems to have many hurdles to overcome before that happens.

I'm sure as is allowed to tell us details about the movie- we'll be the first to know. I wouldn't start guessing about non-action. is a smart man and knows how things work. I'm sure he's doing everything possible to make this movie happen (and kick butt).

Although we don't have suffcient facts to draw an irrefutable conclusion (this is presented as theory), one might surmise that someone/some group wishes to bury this story- or at least not allow it to have the same exposure as Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth".

Although both political parties, and in particular, the Bush administration, would love to bury this story in toto, Participant Production's does not appear to be a Republican front or have Republican connections.

There have been some significant attempts recently (with ABC) to prevent a certain television series from being shown or at least "scrubbed" to present the 911 history in a light more favorable to a former President. Serious pressure was brought to bear. There was also a huge backlash from the attempt to censor.

The next attempt to censor will obviously try to avoid the backlash, because it is now known that such a brazen attempt will draw attention to, rather than deflect attention from, the relevant issue.

As a Presidential run is contemplated, one might surmise that a Presidential campaign would not appreciate the truth about the history of the autism epidemic coming out, especially as it would relate to or connect involvement in same.

Here, we note that none of the Bushes will be running in '08.

While there may be numerous reasons why the production company that brought us Syriana and Good Night and Good Luck would seek to jettison the vaccine/autism story and bury it through DVD introduction, one particular theory would seem to carry some weight.

And there really is only one person who is integral to our story who will be running for President.

Innuendo? Yes.

However, there are sufficient facts to support its discussion.

Yes, but 's move, a direct hit on those same groups, appears to be moving forward. If that gets jettisoned also, we will know those most likely responsible.

ED, you're exactly right. The only question is whether or not the

perpetrators of the epidemic will be brought to justice posthumously

or sooner. Since we can't outbid Pharma for control of the media, I

see our best option as making some " Mercury Causes Autism " blogs sit

on the first page of the search engines where the general public

might stumble on them. There are ways to " trick " the search engines

to have our sites show up in lots of places where they don't belong.

As far as I know, there are only a few of us doing this. It's

time to put less effort into these lists and make our position as

open to the public as possible. We're accomplishing nothing by

keeping this to ourselves.

I certainly hope and pray that the movie hits the theatres.

But there are simply too many people who wish this to go away- so it probably will.

If this issue was pure anti-Bush, we'd have a much better shot.

But because there is gross bipartisan fault, both sides will make it extremely difficult.

Although we don't know to a level of certainty that the movie will not appear in theatres, one should expect that it will be yanked. We've just seen that too many times in the past.

Hopefully, we all will be pleasantly surprised.

Re: EOH the movie

The Participant site does not list EoH as being developed for DVD. Itis listed under "In Development." That section is directly under the"Coming Soon on DVD," a category that no films are currently listedin. Graphically, it's a little confusing, but I think those are twodifferent sections.>> A look at Participant Production's website shows that the movie iscurrently under development, for release not in theaters, but on DVD. > > I don't understand how this will help any of us. We all may have different political

opinions on this sight but the one thing I think all of us would fight for is

bringing this movie to the BIG screen and take nothing less!! Iโ€™ve

already written to them pleading them to take this movie all the way. I

will continue to write until my fingers bleed if necessary.

I stand corrected and greatly relieved. As to whether or not the movie will make much difference..I understand that there haven't

been too many movies that have made much impact politically. However, in other cases, you didn't have the main stream media's refusal to acknowledge an issue because it would mean a loss of profit for them. This collaboration between the pharmaceutical companies and the media is another horror story every bit as terrible as the poisonings that occured, imo. Hurray for hollywood. or HBO.
