Guest guest
Hi :  We hardly use the plungers. Normally we use gravity! Therefore we make sure diet is not really a thick one.  Rgds, Iz mom to Catarina - almost 4 - SMA type 1 >1a. Guest guest
Thank you for that tip! I do some gravity feeds but I am making my own blended food diet so it is hard to keep it that thin... Also, when I sit up my stomach is compressed so the gravity feeds won't go in. I can't believe they make such a crappy syringe!! Guest guest
We give Landry his feeding by gravity but we also give him a herb and juice mixture twice a day which can get thick if we let it sit to long before giving it to him. We just dip the plunger in cooking oil and it slides right on it and it make it easier to push the mixture into the extension, even my 7 yr can give her brother his herbs with it oiled. ________________________________ From: <nicoleroberts@...> " " < > Sent: Tue, April 13, 2010 5:11:45 PM Subject: Re: Re: G-tube syringes  Thank you for that tip! Guest guest
I've tried olive oil but it didn't work, do you use Pam or what exact type of oil? (I don't cook so I am a little cooking ignorant!) thanks!
