Whoever is responsible for educating senator Lieberman on this issue needs a big THANK YOU and a high five for a job well done.

Right on.!!!! Sen Lieberman was excellent, as was Imus himself. Obviously, the question they want answered is the same question that has been asked for over two decades now::

"Is thimerosal a contributing factor to our epidemic of autism?"

This is a simple question that requires a simple "yes" or "no" for an answer. Yet, after more than twenty years, the best our scientific experts have managed to cobble together is an ambiguous statement that offers "maybe, no" as their answer.

I believe Lieberman's strong demand for independent, credible research of thimerosal does two things. First, it clearly indicates he believes the CDC/FDA/IOM has squandered the public's trust and should no longer be given the responsibility for conducting further research. Second, credible, independent scientific research must prove beyond any reasonable doubt that thimerosal is safe or not. If it cannot be proven either way, it is far better to abandon it rather than further risk the health of our children.

All in all, a great appearance by Sen. Joe.

Jane, I second that.. .Bobbie, you

and others like you keep the process going. educating our legislators,, raising

the bar on expectations,

coordinating events, digging deep to find

the research, connect the dots, and offer it all up on a plate to those who

need to know...no small feat

when one considers that many of us are also

involved in raising , recovering and advocating for our children thanks

again, Bobbie .Suzanne
