Guest guest
I take Ditropan (generic oxybutynin) to prevent bladder spasms caused by my catheter. I weigh 52 lbs. and take 2.5 mgs 2x/day. The original dose was 5 mgs 2x/day. This dried my throat terribly and made my voice very hoarse. Now I'm fine. You might try working with your doc on reducing your dose. Lasix is a diuretic. It will make you pee like crazy. I took it in hopes that is would reduce the swelling (water retention) in my feet. It did not. But it dried everything else out, including making sex unbearable. I know some MD folks who use it because they would otherwise retain water around their heart - very dangerous.
