Guest guest
OK, I tried really hard to stay out of this but I just can't anymore. I was reading through all these posts and something occured to me. What follows is not a criticism of anyone. One thing I have noticed is that we hold the pharmaceuticals, CDC, FDA and MD's responsible for the sham we now call medical treatment. This is not just about vaccines, or autism. It is about all disease. It's the word responsible that is really bothering me. By holding any or all above mentioned parties responsible, are we not giving them the very power we accuse them of having over ourselves, and our children. The alternative is taking responsibility. Of course if we do this it would mean we would have to blame only ourselves for what may go wrong if we choose to follow, or not follow an MD's advise. I have spent more than ten years in a consant state of infuriation. It has done nothing but make me physically ill. I have come to the decison that I will no longer put my health in the hands of a totally broken system. I'll do my research, look for safer alternatives, and then live with the consequences. I no loner believe its the money the pharmaceuticals have that give them all this power over doctors, researchers, MD's etc. Its the fact that we continue to trust them, and believe they have our best interest at heart. I caught a cold and as a result came down with a nasty sinus infection. I could have just called my PCP and got a script for an antibiotic. I decided against this. I wanted to see how long it would take for my body to fight it off. Along with the help of some pretty heavy doses of Vitamin C it took about a week or so. Funny thing is, thats about how long it takes the antibiotic to knock it out. One of the nurses where I work told me what I was doing was very dangerous. You know I actually had second thoughts when she said that to me. I realized that it was because she was a nurse and she knew things I didn't. Those thoughts gave her some power. Then I thought about how many people actually die from untreated sinus infection. I guess its a possibilty, but unlikely. Amazingly I got better without drugs.
