My experience of creatine was as a sports supplement but I found it made me

tired and I had very little benefit from it. I stopped taking it after 8 weeks

(to get any benefit you should try it for a period of at least weeks).

I was also told you need to ensure you take on board plenty fluids when taking

the supplement, as it can damage your kidneys & liver in large quantities.

Please be careful.

Long term I found very little benefit and if anything I found myself gaining

weight although exercising for 2 hours per day. My muscles ached and always felt

heavy and it did not help me... but that does not mean it wont help you.

At the time I was a competitive swimmer hence my use of this substance but now

I am very wary of its benefits for us with SMA.

Having said this I hope it helps you - good luck.
