Please help us pass this along to anyone who would be interested. Thanks so much! UA/NVIC Action Alert! for July 19, 2005 Call ALL Members of Congress!!!!! Invite them to attend the Power of Truth Rally on Wednesday. You asked us what you could do to participate in the activities this week if they cannot travel to Washington, DC. Here you go! We need your help! 1) Put the Capitol Operator phone number on speed dial and in your cell phone: 202-224-3121. 2) Call your personal Congressman and both of your Senators and invite them and members of their staff to attend the Power of Truth Rally. Information below. 3) Let them know that you won't be able to attend but [number] of people from your state will be attending and looking specifically for the representatives from their state. Explain that these constituents will be there to represent you and your family and that you expect someone from the office to be in attendance to meet with them. 4) Tell them that you will check back with them on Thursday, July 21st to find out what they learned at the rally. 5) March/Rally information: Date: Wednesday, July 20th, 2005, Time: March begins at 8:30am. Tell each office that march participants should reach the rally site by 9:30am. Press conference to begin at 9:45am. Location: West Front Grassy Area of the Capitol Building by 1st Street. 6) Can't stand it? Live within driving distance? Wanna come after all? Throw your stuff in the car and go! The more, the merrier! Keep all of your conversations polite and short. Thank them for their time. Think of all of the media coverage on this issue and all of the phone calls that have happened in the last several weeks! This issue has never been more alive! We need your help to get the staffers, Congressmen and Senators out on the Hill to attend the rally.
