I also had to seperate the silver ware into the right slots. i've waxed

furniture at my level, dusted, and also cleaned the sink in the bathroom. i

also

folded laundry before i got too weak.

Our (now age 10 - SMA III) has helped with cleaning out our

vehicles. We " put " him in the van or care (air running) and give him a bag. He

picks

up all trash, then vaccums.

He has also done lots of Windexing windows he can reach! Emptying garbage

cans (paired with a sibling) is a good one. Sitting on the floor and cleaning

his room!

Hope these ideas help!

Sincerely,

- brother held the dust pan, when i was old enough i went to the store, i

folded laundry, i put dishes away, set and cleared the tabled, helped with

ironing with my little kid iron and board, i helped with cooking...cut

things, break eggs, grate cheese...and mom sat me on the counter to do

dishes, i walked the dog...

Chores were never a problem for my mother to find for me. I dried dishes

and dusted everything I could reach and my favorite chore was mowing the

lawn. Mom tied the push mower to my electric wheelchair & I drove around

the yard to cut the grass. A reporter from our local newspaper had to

stop and take a picture because we lived on a busy hi way. Everyday I

mowed I'd get at least 3 honks by people passing by!! FUN!!

I don't think it would of been fair to my sibling's if I got out of

chores. I also don't think that just because we are disabled it doesn't

mean we should get out of housework!!!
