Guest guest
I've been doing BFL for a few years now. Lost about a hundred pounds - twice. I've been maintaining for several months, battling an eating disorder (binging), but generally winning the war. I have not only gotten use to living a BFL lifestyle, I've come to rely on it. To really NEED the structure and benefit of it. Now a friend of mine needs a kidney and it turns out I'm a match. It's not the battery of tests I'll be subjected to or even the surgery that worries me. It's the time away from the gym during my recovery and, more importantly, the fear that only having one kidney may somehow impact my beautiful, peaceful BFL life in some negative way. (I know. I'm a horrible, wretched, self-centered cow, but an honest one at the very least.) Is there anyone out there succeeding with BFL that only has 1 kidney and can help lay some of my fears to rest?
