Guest guest
Francine (and all), how much castor oil do you think would be sufficient? How much is too much? Jane
Guest guest
Jane, I usually add 1/2 oz. per pound of oils because I use coconut oil in my soaps which makes lather as well. The best thing to do is make a small test batch and then if you want more lather, push the envelope on the castor. Guest guest
i Jane, 4% Castor will give plenty of small silky thick suds. Over 7% and your bar *may* become sticky-ish, depending on the recipe.
