Guest guest Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I used one eons ago. Never got a very good workout on it. The springs are doing like 80% of the work for you. Anything where there's momentum involved (riders, flyers, rebounders) you're going to get a less effective workout than if you're supporting your own weight and moving yourself through space (like running outdoors), or moving yourself against increasing resistance (like increasing the ramp on an elliptical, or the resistance on a bike, or running hills instead of flats). It was fun to play on though, and hopping around on a mini-trampoline while watching TV definitely burns more calories than sitting on the couch watching TV.
