Hi, all. Sorry for the cross post. Is anyone else experiencing problems with

PayPal? Earlier today some of my customers received duplicate invoices and some

received reminders for payments they had already made! The problem is that

although I have no control over this, some people are peeved with me. It's

frustrating. PayPal says they're working on it, but can't explain why it

happened in the first place.

Anyone else having issues with PP???????????? Thanks for letting me dump! LOL

No I think you are being hit by a scammer. I doubt it is Paypal sending that

out.

I have had major problems with them. I only used them to pay once and I have

been receiving an e-mail from them for the last few weeks. It's entitled

'PAYPAL account reminder' and has an attachment with it. When I open it, it

lets me know that my account is about to expire and I need to update my

information. It gives me a deadline of five days to get it done but I've been

receiving the message for three weeks. Also, when I scanned the attachments

they sent me everytime there was a virus located. Sounds like they're having

serious system problems.

Hi Sheryl:\\

Be aware that the email you have gotten is NOT from PayPal, and should not

be opened...I too was getting the one you describe below, --about 30 a day

and called to complain...they are having some problems with

someone " imitating " them...and actually they are random hits on email

addresses...I know this because although I have a PayPal account, they do

not have the email address that the bad email was sent to... If you go on

the PayPal site it tells you all about this, and what to do and how to

avoid this...

I have had major problems with them. I only used them to pay once and I

have been receiving an e-mail from them for the last few weeks. It's

entitled 'PAYPAL account reminder' and has an attachment with it. When I

open it, it lets me know that my account is about to expire and I need to

update my information. It gives me a deadline of five days to get it done

but I've been receiving the message for three weeks. Also, when I scanned

the attachments they sent me everytime there was a virus located. Sounds

like they're having serious system problems.

Hi, Sheryl! Sorry to hear about that. I think, though, that you have been

receiving a message that is being sent by someone trying to get personal info.

There are a lot of hackers out there who dupe the PayPal logo and headers to try

to scam someone out of their credit card info. PayPal does what they can to

combat those messages, but there's always someone else ready to start them

again.

Sorry to hear you're a current target. That's a real bummer about the virus. Be

careful!
