Hi, Patty! Massage therapists I know swear by fractionated coconut oil and

nothing else. Maybe mixing a bit of fractionated coconut with some jojoba and

maybe a small proportion of mowrah butter would work?

Let us know what you figure out. Good luck!!

Hi Patty,

I have been very successful with my massage lotion formula; use a high

percentage of water and no stearic acid.

75% distilled water

10% coconut oil

5% sweet almond oil

5% ewax

For the remaining 5%, I add dimethicone, preservative and essential oil

blend. Your percentages may change slightly based on your usage of those

ingredients.

Let me know if you need any additional info

Thanks so much to those of you who responed to my plea for help on

the massage lotion issue. I did a little experimenting and came up

with a blend of Sunflower, Safflower, Sweet Almond and Grapeseed

oils, distilled water and yarrow hydrosol for the water phase, and a

little vegetable glycerine added. I was very pleased with the slip

it had. Also tried another recipe, using Olive Oil, Fractionated

Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, and a small amount of Jojoba and Vit. E.

Added distilled water and some bees wax, blended, and got a nice,

not too thick lotion that also had a nice slip to it. I won't know

how well it works until I hear from the massage therapist, so have

my fingers crossed, but I love both!

Blessing to you,

Patty

does anyone out there know where I can find plastic roll on bottles for lip

gloss. There also may be a plastic roll on tube. Also I need good lip gloss

recipes and massage oil recipes that are edible.
