I know " one " of the " Kathys " in our group (Kathy H or R?) said something about sometimes the OCD symptoms get worse when you begin the medication and this can be an indication that the med will work. (?) Maybe the doctor meant this by side effects. OR - he felt the dosage might be too low to help since she apparently showed no side effects. (?)
