Guest guest
Any suggestions out there as to how you knew when it was time to increase your child's meds? Ben is on 37.5 mg of Zoloft and has been for a month now. The past three or four days his reassurance questions have increased and his strength/resolve to fight the OCD has diminished quite a bit. He will play for quite a while without being bothered and then have a continuous bout for 1/2 hour or so and then have another break and so on through out the day. He was having a hard time settling down for bed because of the Zoloft making him a bit jumpy, but the past three nights, he has fallen asleep a little earlier, but now he seems to stay awake because of " fears " plaguing him. And he just seems resigned to the fears, in a bit of a daze when he begins " the questions " . I know it's a low dose, and I'm figuring he needs to go up, but I also want to be sure I'm not jumping because he's having a tough few days and may be in a slump.......
