I don't believe the sprays need any preservative because of the alcohol. HTH Rose
Guest guest
Germaben II is heat sensitive so if you goof you can't reheat without adding more. One Germaben is for more oil than water and there is another that is for more water than oil, very confusing. Guest guest
I don't use any preservative in scrubs since there is no water. i don't make scrubs or lotions atm, but i am a member of a few groups and forums, and the majority of the people on those who make scrubs add preservative because water will most likely get into the scrub, ie, a wet hand dipping into the scrub in the shower. Guest guest
I know there is a web site that covers preservatives I just can't put my finger on it right now. If I find it I will pass it on. I put the decimel in the wrong place. It should be .03% to .05% -NEVER more than 1%. Thank you Pat for bringing it to my attention and anyone else who read it. Guest guest
All presevatives should only be used in 1 % of total. That is the way I was taught. I use Phenonip. I really do think 3 - 5 % would be far to much and might even cause some problems ! Hugs, . Re: small poll - opinions really > > > I buy Germabem II for both of the products.
