Guest guest
I sympathize about the violin lessons. That was one of the things my son wanted to give up at the time we finally got his OCD, depression, and ADD diagnosed. My son is also very talented on the violin. Fortunately, after medication and therapy, he has continued and excelled with the violin. We just got back Friday from his regional youth orchestra's tour of Japan. I was very worried about the tour, as he crashed a few years ago when we were in Switzerland because he couldn't handle the "foreignness" of language and customs, but that was before diagnosis and therapy also. In fact, he did spectacularly well on the trip. I was especially worried he wouldn't eat and brought cases of Boost and other snacks, but he actually enjoyed the food!! I was also extremely worried about the home stay with his host family (I wasn't with him), but he did very well and enjoyed that also. Thank God. It gives me hope for your son also. Hope he does well. Judy Re: Hi,Thanks so much for the feedback! It's been two days now with the limits in place and it hasn't been easy. I crashed today after refused to continue with his violin lessons anymore (he plays so well). Friday we see the Dr. for the first time regarding the OCD although has been on Luvox for almost three weeks now. This group is great. For the first time I feel as if I can share anything this OCD brings and someone out there understands. Thanks again.
