Guest guest Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I know that Bill advocates six small meals a day but I haven not yet been able to get 6 in. I manage five meals, but I am not hungry and do not want to eat if I am not hungry. I have no cravings at all. Tomorrow is my first free day and I could care less. I there anyone else that had a hard time getting 6 meals in.Today I did my cardio at 6 a.m after drinkiing some water. I waited an hour after I finished to have breakfast and this is how my day went until now. 7:30 - cottaage cheese and raspberry yogurt 10:30 - protein powder yougurt combo with skim milk 1:00 - 5 egg omelet made with red peppers and broccoli, 1 slice whole wheat toast 4:45 - portion of salmon (yum) with asparagus and small baked potato. It is now 7:00 and I have no desire at all to eat anything. I drink 3 litres+ water daily in addition to my decaf morning cofffees and my gingermint herbal tea. I will likely have cottage cheese and an orange or small apple about an hour before bed. That seems to be all I can manage no matter how early I get up or stay up. I am just not hungry which I think is a good thing. Does anyone else have this problem? Dianne Quote
Guest guest Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Hi Dianne, you didn't mention the portion sizes of your meals, so it's hard to say. I found that when I had difficulty eating six meals, it was because my portion sizes were slightly more than I needed. Assuming your portions are fine, and five meals works for ya, five is enough for a lot of people. Anything less wouldn't be a good idea though. > > I know that Bill advocates six small meals a day but I haven not yet been able to get 6 in. Guest guest Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I almost never get my 6th meal eaten. I try to eat at 7:00a, 10:30a, 12:30p, 3:30p, then I work out and usually have supper at around 8:00p. I know the timing is horrible but if I don't take lunch at 12:30p I won't get anything. Some days I don't get my 3:30p meal until driving home at 5:00p. Then I might eat half of it cause I'm in the gym at 6:30p. By the time I get home it's nearing 8:00p and I nearly Hoover down whatever hubs has cooked. I just don't think it's a problem unless I start waking up hungry or waking up in the middle of the night hungry. Deb Quote
