But I know many others who give three times this amount. It will be related to the glutamate load in the system as GABA and glutamate are in balance in a similar manner (simplistic analogy) as copper and zinc, heavy metal load, your child's behavior. So each child is different and will respond differently. Many start with 250 mg, then move up. When you hit a " mushy " stage where your kid starts getting too droopy and drowsy, then you've gone too far. We give at night, but many give throughout the day. GABA made a huge difference in Lulu -- within 1 and a half weeks she began to sing parts of songs nonverbally, which she had never done before. Hope this helops. You can get it from www.omegasports.co.uk and possibly from the Nutricentre in UK or from USA. My understanding is that UK suppliers can sell their existing stock but not import any more.
