I'm Helen, 56, from NW Ohio... Did they say which liver cancer your dealing with??? There are lots of kind folks and care givers on here, we're here to help and or just listen... Talking about what your going through helps a lot... Yes, family and friends back away when you need them the most, its their lose... They just can't seem to understand what they can't see... My name is Donna Gail; I am 53 years old and reside in West Virginia. I am married, not always happily but married all the same, I have 4 adult children and 4 beautiful granddaughters. Not only have I been dealing with rheumatoid and hepatitis-c for many years but I now have a life threatening disease which is liver cancer. Due to the complications of my illness I cannot work or drive. Let’s face it family and friends tend to avoid you when you cannot be normal, I have joined this group for companionship.

I have a true love of nature, wildlife observation, hiking, camping, living off the land and gardening. I am West Virginia State Certified as a Master Gardener and I have just applied to certify as a West Virginia Master Naturalist. I have a dream of walking the Appalachian Trail.
