Guest guest
LINK: Remedyfind Hi Ron & Folks, > MUSCLE AND JOINT PAIN > Elavil etc. (Amitriptyline) 3.8 (3) ***Used the Elavil for years. It did somewhat help with nerves and consequently helped me walk again. However, I found when other MDs discovered I was on it, they would chalk up whatever problem I was having to depression. I hated the stigmatism that went with it. After getting on colostrum I was able to come off it. I've found I have even more energy without it. Little did I know it had a drugged effect! I will never go back on it. > Soma etc. (Carisoprodol) 3.7 (3) *** I was also on soma for muscle spasms. Also on pain pills. The pain pills worked better for the muscles than the soma. > Magnesium 3.4 (3) > *** When I went on the magnesium injection that was the beginning of my healing. For me I think a mineral dificiency was what contributed to so many of my symptoms, including neurological, muscular, and mental......although I still need a little help there! > FATIGUE > Rest 4.3 (5) ***I was bedridden for months most of the year and for years! It did nothing to restore my energy! > Ginkgo (Ginkgo Biloba) 3.9 (7) ***Tried ginkgo, but for whatever reason, hasn't helped. > Exercise: Graded Exercise Therapy 2.9 (4) *** They say not to exercise that it will cause relapses. In the past every time I tried it, I'd relapse. It wasn't until I cleaned out my liver that I've had such great success with exercising! Go figure. > > MENTAL ALERTNESS AND MEMORY ***Still working on this one, but will NOT go on drugs! ***So in conclusion the medical doctors had me on antidepressants, pain pills, muscle relaxers and hormone therapy with no avail. Maybe I'm wrong, but I got the impression that for the most part they thought I was just some hormonal, depressed female that didn't have a life. I hated the implications. Is it any wonder one doesn't want to go to the doctors just to have them pacify you for something they think is wrong with you! I've had soooooo much better results by getting off all the above and doing my own thing. At the top of the list I'd have to put detoxing, supplementing with minerals, and oxygen. It seems to be a mysterious ailment for sure, but I just don't see that drugs have helped. Just my 2 cents worth. :-) And, ofcourse, Ron, it goes without saying you are in another class of doctors altogether. :-) Gail
