Guest guest
Hi Caroline, Wow! Congratulations on hanging in there with your daughter! How wonderful that she can walk and is now learning how to talk. I love the way you named your kids all starting with K and I admire your strength in continuing to look for more answers with regards to helping Kiyanna grow. I think you will find a lot of info. on this site about apraxia......and maybe someone else with the same brain diagnosis as well. Cheers to your perseverance! Carol (mom to Micah - hypotonia(also a late walker), sensory integration difficulties and global apraxia; and CJ - mr. ball of energy, who is spite of currently having a high fever is running and jumping and yelling around the house like nothing!) [ ] Digest Number 244 > SHORT TIME LEFT TO GET INVOLVED AND HELP APRAXIC CHILDREN: > Letter and Anecdotal Case Report Forms due back by June 29th 2001: > > http://www.debtsmart.com/talk/research.pdf > > Those parents or professionals that participate in the Anecdotal Case Reports will be invited to a landmark apraxia pre-trial conference on July 23 and 24, 2001 with world renowned apraxia experts and scientists -or get the video of the event FREE!! (and you will not want to miss this!!) Your child's therapist, pediatrician, teacher can answer even if they don't understand what EFAs are-it's just an observation check list that should take no more than a few minutes. Guest guest
Hi Colleen, Welcome to the group! What helped me IMMENSELY with dry mouth was gatorade. I hated it before treatment but it became my #1 drink of choice. I went from one flavor to another and drank, drank, drank most of the day, the other part I was in the bathroom. My doc let me take prescription motrin for headaches and I probably took 2 per day but it did help. Hang in honey! Vicky

Guest guest
Concerning encapsulated probiotics, I have had the best luck with those from Dr. . You can read about his product at: drdavidwilliamscatalog.com Now that I can tolerate kefir and kombucha tea, plus my cultured veggies and ferments fruit drinks, I no longer need to supplement probiotics. But this product and digestive enzymes (plus a major overhaul in nutritional intake) got me to this place. Over the years, I used many forms of probiotics and these are the best (for me only, of course). Good fermenting, Norma Pirie > Message: 1 > Date: Thu, 19 May 2005 06:14:19 -0000 > From: " Conner " <mcmccon2@...> > Subject: In desperate need of Probioitics for my daughter please help > > Hi everyone, > > i was wondering if anyone out there can help me. Guest guest
cannot tolerate most vegetables so culturing them is out. Any suggestions? thanks in advance , >>>> As far as I understood, lacto-fermenting veggies brought about the probiotics you are looking for? I'm still new to l-f but that was my understanding from reading Nourishing Traditions. Sharon in AZ
