Guest guest
Perhaps a few colonics might help (if you're not doing that now). Sounds like you're cleansing through the skin. jp I worked in a factory on an assembly line for 30 yrs (then I was able to retire). If I forgot my deordorant, it just didn't matter because I NEVER had BO. Then I discovered cleansing the body from inside out about 6 yrs ago. The more I do the more BO I have (I gave up traditional antiperspiants). Many times I SCRUB my underarms and still have terrible ordor. I have a draw FULL of things that do not work. I need something new. Edith [
Guest guest
Rose, Thank you, I have tried that one, I actually carry it in my store. It worked for several years, but it has quit working. It is also breaking me out in a rash under my arms. I have tried the roll up stone, the stone itself, and the spray that are made by the Thai company and they all are breaking me out and not killing the smell right now. Thanks though. ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com RE: Re: Antiperspirants >Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 20:50:59 -0500 > >This is why I asked what brand in an earlier post. Guest guest
Karma, I've seen the posts about an anti-p for a while so I thought I'd add my own experience for your benefit. Earlier, I decided against exotic fixes and in 1994, I read about 20 Mule Team Boxax. It came across the country with our great-grandparents and is a wonderful, inexpensive body cleanser. Use Borax at 1/2 to 3/4 cups in a bathtub or 1 teaspoon in the bathroom sink and bacteria cannot feed on us, cast off and then make us smell bad. I tried it then and am still using it; have no need for the anti-p. I even use it for everything that touches my body; clothes, bed linens, etc. I use it in my hair and then use Citric Acid as a cream rinse at 1 teaspoon in a quart of water. I just love this as part of my life style. My hair is so soft and easy to comb. I wish you'd try it, hope you'll be pleased. Best regards, Obie. Thinking about a Trust rather than a will? Ask southerntrust@... Re: Antiperspirants Hi Dr. Saul, Thank you very much for the offer! I'll look in my local health store. The one I have (amazing Thai) says on the back that it contains no aluminum, but the I read somewhere that it is made of aluminum sulfate. The manufacturer says aluminum sulfate is not the same as aluminum metal. This is true, but I still think it could be bad since aluminum sulfate in solution seperates into Al and sulfate ions Best Wishes! Guest guest
Hi Deanna, A lot of health food stores carry skin brushes. The number one thing to remember is to do it dry. Don't do it after a shower or when you are sweaty...it just won't work. I just brush my skin in long sweeps toward the heart. Pay extra attention to the lymph glands in the neck and groin. Brush these in a circular fashion. The first few times dry skin dust will come off your skin. It usually takes me less than 10 minutes to brush. Some people take a shower afterwards but you don't have to. It really makes your skin soft and smooth and gets rid of little bumps that some people have. I hope that helps. Guest guest
Obie, I am willing to try it. I did pick up some Borax the other day. Is there a special place to buy citric acid? does it come in powder, liquid, where would I find it in the form you use? Do you put it in tap water, distilled water, reverse osmosis water to make your hair conditioner? ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com Re: Re: Antiperspirants Karma, I've seen the posts about an anti-p for a while so I thought I'd add my own experience for your benefit.
