Guest guest Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 Has any families benefited from using the Feingold Program? I have a 7 y/o with HFA. He is coming along, however, if he has certain food colorings, ie. blue, he will literally bounce off the furniture. We tried adhd meds for about 8 months or so, trying about five meds, however he had undesirable side effects, or the med stopped working after 4 weeks and adjusting doseage didn't work. I havent' been strict with cutting out these colorings, however just eliminating some has helped tremendously with behaviors. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
