CMT triggered by medications

There is a new medication list in the HNF booklet that you might want

to look at. If Vicristine is given to a cancer patient who has not been

diagnosed with CMT, yes, that medication can bring out the CMT

symptoms. In my own experience, while I was diagnosed as a kid, certain

medications like Sulfa drugs have made my symptoms 'temporarily' worse.

Yes, CMT is genetic, if we've got it, it is in our own unique genetic

code, but some medications can cause a non-symtomatic person to show

symptoms. You might also want to look at the medication list at
