Guest guest
Hi Elaina, I've been thinking about you alot. I just read your post and I really can't say much about your progression question, mainly because I can't see you, and also because I am not a doc. But, here's a few thoughts: This could be temporary - either due to stress (like the extra hours on the job CAN exacerbate CMT symptoms, or this also may be a result of surgery somewhat). Even though my surgery was so long ago, for about 3-4 months after, even though I was up and walking and back in school/activities, I thought my feet felt " displaced " on the ground - that could have been surgery related, or shoe related in my case - I had some sort of orthopedic shoes for awhile then. I saw you're starting RCIA classes! Elaina, I did this same " journey " back in the 1980s. Best thing I ever did - on top of that, then in the 1990s, I became the RCIA Director at my parish...if you want to, email me off list, we can talk more. Back to your progression, if you have time, and I know you are extremely busy, this might be something to check out with your doc. Our health must come first in regards to anything CMT related. Take care, ~ Gretchen
