Guest guest
Hi! Vit C has definitely been beneficial for me. Anyhow, there are some things I'd like to ask: 1. What is the recommended daily dosage? I take 6000 mg per day. 2. Any side effects of excess Vit C? A medical book talked of diarrheoa...another mentioned a likelihood of 'oxalton' stones. My doctor told me that human body excretes all excess Vit C and hence, there can be no possible side effects. Thanks Reema

Guest guest
Hi , My philosophy is to always get tested to see if a deficiency actually exists before taking anything. I take B12 periodically because my levels have been found to be seriously low at times. After a few weeks of supplements, my levels return to normal and I always stop the supplements. I've learned that the way I feel isn't always reflective of my lab results so I never supplement without having concrete proof that it's needed. As with everything, there are risks and benefits. When the benefits outweigh the risks then the risks are usually worth it but if there are no proven benefits and potential risk, I say why bother?
