Guest guest
Does chocolate do that or cocoa. Chocolate has sugar and hydrogenated fat in it. And who knows what else. But you can make homemade stuff with organic cocoa without all that. Is that still bad? Is the cocoa a good bacteria killer? Anyone know? Guest guest
Okay, chocolate destroys good bowel bacteria, robs calcium and prevents assimilation for 48 hours. WELL!! This may explain why all my life I had trouble pooping, AND why in recent years I shrank 2 1/2 inches in height AND started breaking bones AND have trouble assimilating calcium. Now, someone please answer Donna's question about the organic cocoa. OH PLEEEEEASE!!! Deanna ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
I hate to say it, and everyone will hate to hear it, but I read recently (forget where) that when chocolate is being processed, roaches are so thickly infested in the vats, that the workers give up trying to remove them all, and stir them in with the rest. This is the cause (allegedly) of a lot of so-called chocolate allergies. Sorry for dropping such a bomb.....

Guest guest
, have you ever tried goodGerman or Belgium chocolate. American chocolate is bad. Try it, muscle test it first and see what happens. I do not think all chocolate is the same. Christel

Guest guest
Hello All, Well! Regarding rat, cockroach and other insects droppings in our food supply is not tru only of cocoa beans....but...many of these items (droppings) are found in many of our food chain supply...including parasites. So... always one is faces as to what to do. Different cultures are strict about the sacred ritual treatment of their food...kosher, some hindu rites, and I am Ayurveda practioners have some strict guidelines. Also... in a different vein... When I see arguments for the harm in not eating cooked food...but... raw... but Macrobiotics practioners cook their food to help release the nutrients ...break down the fibers and also to diable some enzymes in sprouts and beans...less gas I am told and stomach cramps. So a careful review of food processing whether cultural or commercial is in order here. Just thoughts here... mike slivinski On Wed, 27 Jun 2001 07:50:02 EDT ejohns9525@... writes: > In a message dated 06/27/2001 12:28:12 AM Central Daylight Time, > ruthful@... writes: > > > > Does chocolate do that or cocoa. Guest guest
Chocolate is chocolate, yes? All made from the same bean. How I wish it weren't true, but I believe it is, unless I am misinformed. Guest guest
Sounds like anti-anything mania. You can use this arguement for a case against wheat, oats, corn etc. Anything stored in a silo or piled up anywhere. Use your heads and try not to be mislead by naysayers. It's easy to be a critic. Guest guest
Oh Christel....seriously? :-) Where does one find this kind of chocolate? And why is it different? On the rare occasions I do eat chocolate it is always organic. It was a big sacrifice for me to give up. I would love to find a good kind to eat. I have heard the " bad " is some kind of oil in the bean. Do you know anything about this? Christelti@... wrote: > , have you ever tried goodGerman or Belgium chocolate.
